Kohinoor Super Value Authentic Basmati Rice, 5 Kg

Easy. Tasty. Authentic – Veg Pulao

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
• 1 tsp cumin / jeera, 1 star anise with 1 cinnamon stick, 4 cloves, 3 pods cardamom and 1 bay leaf
• 10 cashews with 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
• 1 sliced onion with 2 slit chillies
• 1 finely chopped tomato and 1 cubed potato
• 3 tbsp peas, 1 chopped carrot with 10 florets cauliflower / gobi
• 5 chopped beans with 10 cubes of paneer
• 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander and mint and 1 tsp lemon juice
• ½ tsp Kohinoor Garam Masala and 1tsp salt
• 1 cup Kohinoor Super Value Basmati Rice, soaked 20 minutes with 2 cups water

Instructions

• Heat 2 tbsp ghee and sauté the spoves and cashews in a large deep pan.
• Add onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 2 chillies to the pan.
• Add the tomato and sauté until tomatoes turn mushy.
• Next, add the vegetables and sauté for 2 minutes.
• Add 10 cubes of paneer, 2 tbsps coriander, 2 tbsps mint, ½ tsp Kohinoor Garam Masala and 1 tsp salt.
• Now, add 1 cup Kohinoor Super Value Basmati Rice (soaked for 20 minutes) and sauté gently.
• Then add 2 cups of water, 1 tsp lemon juice and stir well.
• Cover and pressure cook for 2 whistles
• Serve with onion tomato raita.
